Cajun Mouth Restaurant

This place is completely amazing! Found it on Yelp. I'm from Louisiana, so this was like a homecoming for me. Seafood gumbo was so delicious, I wanted to cancel my food order and only eat this. Thank goodness I didn't, because the rest of my order was soooo good! The catfish was perfectly cooked and not fatty at all. Shrimp was flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. The Mac n Cheese tasted just like my mama used to make. The collard greens were really good, not sour, just good flavor. The spicy boudin was completely delicious! If you want a good home cooked Cajun meal, this is the spot! Almost forgot to mention the awesome service. Chatted with the owners about the food and how they get their ingredients from Louisiana. They were super nice. This was such a great experience. We will definitely be back, next time we are in Vegas.

Drove in from L.A. and wanted food with flavor. This was good. Had some gumbo to taste, which was very flavourful. The alligator bites were okay. The shrimp po boy was good with fresh toppings, and their sauce made it better. They did not skimp on the shrimp. The mardi gras pasta was my favorite. But their version of beignets were Devine. No alcohol sold here. Casual but comfortable with EXCELLENT service. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more.

We are from out of town and had no idea what to expect! Exponential is one word to describe it! The cook came out and we got to meet him and personally thank him for how satisfying our meal was! From the time we stepped in from time we left felt nothing but love. One thing I hate is waisting my appetite on food that’s not good but man! I’ll be back!! Thank you Again!

This is a rather new place that has moved into the old OMG Pizza location. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist server when we first walked in and we asked if we could sit outside on the only table that was out on their patio. No problems there, and she quickly brought out three small samples of their gumbo: shrimp, chicken and sausage. All of them were very good. Drinks in cans and bottles are available, but no soda fountain. However, they will serve you a cup of ice if you ask. It was nice to get real silverware served with our meal. Their baskets were actually served in baskets, and their platters were actually served on plates - very fitting. They have great lunch specials for only $9.99; you get your choice of two different Po' Boys (catfish & shrimp) or a burger, plus fries and a can of soda. Mayonnaise, pickles, lettuce and tomato were on the Po: Boys, served on the French roll. They made a nice remoulade sauce for the shrimp and alligator. Speaking of alligator, it was very delicious, but a bit pricey (but for good reason, it's flown in fresh from Louisiana!). The french fries, hush puppies and collard greens were all very good. My only complaint with their catfish would be that the fish itself is fairly thin, being about half the thickness of the batter. I want more fish than batter. Otherwise, it was very tasty. We were very impressed with the fast and friendly service. The reason we ate outdoors is because when we walked in their large dining area, it was nearly like a refrigerator, it was too cold inside to eat hot food. We are curious and interested to try other items on their menu. They have stuff like crab boil, oysters, bone-in wings, crawfish, snow crab, etc. See you again soon!

My experience at Cajun Mouth was A1! First impression, It was neat and clean. After the warm welcome, we were asked if we had any food allergies, most restaurants don't ask that question. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was HOT & FRESH! The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive! SHOUT OUT to JAZZ our server, and you to the entire staff thank you for your wonderful service, delicious food. We will be back soon
